Scion and Goodyear Performance Tires Team up

At KC Summers Scion we know that the Japanese automaker doesn't mess around when it comes to partnerships with automotive parts suppliers. The people at Scion know that the way they present their product, and especially the quality it presents to consumers, can be made or broken by one partnership. That's why we're excited about Scion's newest partnership with Goodyear.

The Akron, Ohio-based Tire Company is known for offering some of the highest quality rubber on the road today. According to the press release, "This standard and exclusive tire made to fit all new 2012 Scion iQ vehicles will be Goodyear's Assurance Fuel Max tires in size P175/60R16. This is the perfect tire to fit the micro-subcompact 2012 Scion iQ car."1

Scion began their lineup with the unique Scion xB in 2003. Now in 2011, the model is still going strong, and this new partnership looks to only strengthen its incredible value. Another model that helped establish Scion as a force to be reckoned with in the automotive world is the Scion tC 3-door, which first hit showroom floors in 2004. Of course, if you'd like to learn more about any of these models, then make sure to contact us today, either online or by phone at (877) 734-3720.

As many of you out there may know, the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is famous around the world for employing 73,000 people at 54 facilities in 22 countries. With these kind of statistics, it isn't hard to see why Scion is welcoming them into this kind of partnership with such open arms. It is clear that both companies share a strong passion for giving consumers the best possible experience in every aspect.

Many autos out there actually do come standard with Goodyear tires, but none of them can even come close to comparing to the models that you'll find here at 117 S 19th St Mattoon, IL 61938. Goodyear tires are actually believed to be the most popular tire in North America amongst consumers.

And, as for the Scion iQ. It's shaping up to be the smallest four-seater to date. With an MSRP of 15,995, it is also shaping up to be one of the cheapest ones as well. However, we think that the best part of the iQ is its estimated 36 MPG city and 37 MPG highway.
